b'Thanks to help from a $7,000 grant from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, St. Louis Living Arts School is on the road to creating its own Beekeeping Club.This week students were visited by members of the Kenora Beekeeping Club, Ingrid Braun and Shelley Bujold. They brought a beehive and showed the students the different parts of the hive and explained the processes of constructing your own hive, and how to care for your bees.Within the first month of launching Xello Kenora Catholic was among the top three districts with thehighest usage in Canada,with over 1,400 logins.Students can use Xello todefine their interests, skills, preferences and aspirations. Students learn about possible career options and educations pathways and they can alsocreate actionable plans that outline the steps they need to take to achieve their school,career and life goals.The Kenora Catholic District School Boards 2020 SummerLearning Program was a success, according to principal Hilary Aitken. Over 60 students actively took part in the 3-weekprogram, which ran virtually.The theme of the 2020 Summer Learning Program wasKeep the Learning Going, and it featured two primary classesand two junior classes.
