b'A Beautiful NewBeginning forFamilies in KeewatinA new chapter of early learning began this year with the official opening of the St. Louis Early Learning Child Care Centre, a vibrant and nurturing space located inside St. Louis Living Arts School. Through a strongpartnership with the Kenora District Services Board, and support from the Ministry ofEducation, this centre brings 15 licensedchild care spaces to families in Keewatinand the surrounding area.The June 26 grand opening brought together community leaders, children, and families for a joyful ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new facility. The event included remarks from KCDSB Chair Teresa Gallik, MPP Greg Rickford, and representatives from the Kenora District Services Board and Grand Council Treaty #3, each sharing their excitement and pride in the collaborative project.The thoughtfully renovated space offers a seamless connection between child care and school, easing the transition into Kindergarten and supporting families with high-quality,care from the early years onward.
