b'Directors message 2025As I share my first Annual Directors Report, I do so with gratitude, humility, and deep hope for what lies ahead for the Kenora Catholic District School Board (KCDSB).This report reflects the steady and compassionate leadership of former DirectorNicole Kurtz. Throughout the 202425 school year, Nicole strengthened learning and wellness through collaborative advisory structures, renewed communitypartnerships, and focused system learning initiatives that positioned KCDSBwell for a seamless transition and continued growth.Looking ahead, our priorities are guided by KCDSBs Multi-Year Strategic Plan and its three pillars: Growing, Investing, and Engaging. We will continue to deepen evidence-based instruction in literacy and mathematics, nurture inclusive school cultures, and keep wellbeing at the centre of our work. We will build capacity from within, cultivate servant leadership, and steward resources wisely, while aligning Jamey Robertson | Director of Education professional learning, technology, and facilities to support high-quality learningenvironments for all students. Our Catholic faith will be lived through meaningful engagement with students, families, and communities. We will continue to strengthen partnerships with families, parishes, and local organizations. These pillars represent more than words; they reflect how we serve, lead, and learn together. They shape our classrooms, ourprofessional practice, and our community connections. This steadfast focus ensures we grow graduates who are faith-filled, curious, resilient, and ready to contribute. With faith as our foundation and guided by our Multi-Year Strategic Plan, we will continue to build bridges, inspire minds, and shape a hope-filled future for every student in KCDSB.With gratitude,Jamey Robertson | Director of EducationChairs message 2025On behalf of the Kenora Catholic District School Board of Trustees, it is my honour to share the 2025 Directors Report.
